Nyt on aika valmistella tuotetiedot – GS1 Datan käyttöönotto etenee

Rakennamme parhaillaan uutta palvelua tuotetietojen hallintaan. Yhdistämme ja korvaamme GS1 Synkan ja GS1 Rekisterin tarjoamat toiminnallisuudet ja tuomme käyttöösi uuden kattavan ja kehittyvän palvelun tuotetietojen ylläpitoon. Jatkossa voit luoda ja hallinnoida GTIN-koodit ja tuotetiedot samassa palvelussa. 

Otamme GS1 Datan käyttöön vaiheittain vuoden 2026 aikana. Tiedotamme tarkemmasta aikataulusta tulevien viikkojen aikana.

Lue alta, mitä sinun kannattaa tehdä jo nyt, jotta varmistat tietojen ajantasaisuuden uudessa palvelussa.  

Mitä tietoja siirrämme uuteen palveluun? 

GS1 siirtää GS1 Synkassa olevat tuotetiedot, GS1 Rekisterissä olevat tiedot sekä käyttäjät ja käyttöoikeudet.

GS1 Synkasta ei siirretä: 

• Luonnostilaisia tuotteita ei siirretä GS1 Dataan. Käy luonnokset läpi ja julkaise ne luonnostilaiset tuotteet, joiden haluat siirtyvän GS1 Dataan. 

GS1 Rekisteristä siirretään: 

• Kaikki tiedot paitsi tuotekoodit, jotka siirrettiin GS1 Synkasta.

GS1 Synkan päivitys tulevana viikonloppuna 
– huomioi käyttökatko

Päivitys alkaa perjantaina 24.4.2026 klo 19 ja päättyy maanantaina 27.4.2026 klo 9. Tuona aikana palvelussa voi olla käyttökatkoja. 

Ylläpidä valmisteverotiedot GS1 Synkassa

Valmisteveroihin kuuluviin virvoitusjuoma- ja alkoholiveroihin tuli muutoksia 1.4.2026. Tuotetiedon toimittajien tulee ylläpitää tieto, jotta vastaanottajat voivat sitä hyödyntää. GS1 Synkassa on koodiarvot uusille veroluokille, ja poistuvat koodit on merkitty. Poistuvat löydät myös varoituksella 400.353.

Valmisteverotiedon ylläpidät GS1 Synkassa Verot-osiossa ylläpitämällä veroluokittelun ylläpitäjäksi Valmistevero ja valitsemalla Veron tyyppi-kenttään oikean koodin.

Näin löydät tuotteet, joilla on vanheneva valmisteverokoodi:

• Avaa Tarkennettu haku ja käytä suodatinta Virhe ID /virheilmoitus.

• Etsi varoituksen id-numerolla 400.353 – “Veron tyypin arvo on poistumassa / poistunut 1.4.2026. Ylläpidä tuotteelle oikea veron tyyppi.”

Vielä ehdit mukaan! GS1 Nordic Summit 2026

Tuotetieto on keskeisessä roolissa niin GS1 2D-koodeissa, digitaalisissa tuotepasseissa kuin markkinoiden muuttuvissa vaatimuksissa. Tapahtumassa kuulet, miten yritykset Pohjoismaissa hyödyntävät dataa liiketoiminnassaan. Suomesta lavalla on mm. Fazerin Katja Santala kertomassa 2D-pilotista.

Lisäksi tarjolla on harvinainen tilaisuus kuulla pohjoismaisen kaupan yhteinen paneeli Siirtymä 2D-koodeihin – mahdollisuudet ja haasteet, jossa mukana ovat SOK, NorgesGruppen, Bónus ja ICA.

Now is the time to prepare product information

– the implementation of GS1 Data is progressing

We are currently building a new service for managing product information. In GS1 Data we are combining and replacing the functionalities of GS1 Synkka and GS1 Rekisteri and introducing a new, comprehensive and continuously developing service for maintaining product information. In the future, you will be able to create and manage GTIN codes and product information in the same service.

GS1 Data will be implemented in phases during 2026. We will communicate the detailed schedule during the coming weeks.

Read below what you should already do now to ensure that your information is up to date in the new service.

What information will be transferred to the new service?

GS1 will transfer the product information stored in GS1 Synkka, the information stored in GS1 Rekisteri, as well as users and access rights.

From GS1 Synkka, all product information will be transferred that is in the following statuses:

- Published

- Live

- Cancelled

- Discontinued

For published and live product information, it is important that you ensure there are no errors, as errors may cause problems during the transfer or when republishing product information and, in the worst case, interrupt the entire transfer in the GS1 Data service.

The following will not be transferred from GS1 Synkka:

Products with the status draft will not be transferred to GS1 Data.

Review your drafts and publish those products that you want to be transferred to GS1 Data.

From GS1 Rekisteri, the following will be transferred:

All information except product codes that were transferred from GS1 Synkka.

GS1 Synkka update coming next weekend – please note the service break

Maintenance for the update will begin on Friday, April 24, 2026 at 19.00 and end on Monday, April 27, 2026 at 9.00 (EEST). During this time, there may be service interruptions.

Maintain excise duties information in GS1 Synkka

On April 1, 2026, there were changes to excise duty on soft drinks and alcohol. Product information providers must maintain the information so that recipients can use it. GS1 Synkka contains code values ​​for new tax categories, and codes that are being removed are marked. You can also find the ones that are being removed with warning 400.353.

You can maintain excise tax information in GS1 Synkka in the Duty Fee Tax Information section by maintaining Levys collected from various organizations as the tax agency and selecting the correct code in the Duty Fee Tax Type Code field.

Here’s how to find products with an expiring excise tax code:

Open Advanced filter and use the Error ID / Message filter.
Search for the warning with the id number 400.353 – “The used Duty Fee Tax Type Code is being expired on 1.4.2026.”

Product information plays a key role in GS1 2D codes, digital product passports and the changing demands of the market. At the event, you will hear how companies in the Nordic countries are using data in their business. From Finland, Katja Santala from Fazer will be on stage to talk about the 2D pilot.

There will also be a rare opportunity to hear from a joint Nordic trade panel on Transition to 2D – opportunities and challenges, which includes SOK, NorgesGruppen, Bónus and ICA.
